FAQs
-
HWC is unique because I blend evidence-informed coaching with a holistic, lifestyle-based approach and real-life experience. With a background as a registered nurse and a board-certified health coach, I understand the medical context of health and the day-to-day habits that shape how you feel. In coaching, I am wearing my coaching hat. I do not diagnose or treat. I help you connect the dots between your mindset, stress, environment, routines, nourishment, and movement so you can create change that is realistic for your life.
This is not a one-size-fits-all plan or a quick fix. Together, we build sustainable routines, tools, and self-trust that support steady energy, resilience, and long-term well-being.
-
I am a Registered Nurse and a National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach. In coaching, I am not acting as your medical provider. I do not diagnose, prescribe medications, order labs, or provide treatment.
My role is to support you through education, lifestyle guidance, mindset work, and sustainable habit change. If anything comes up outside the scope of coaching, I will encourage you to connect with your physician or healthcare team. I can also collaborate with them if you would like a more integrated approach.
-
I do not hand you a list of rules or tell you exactly what to eat, take, or do. Coaching is a collaborative process where you remain in control. I offer guidance, education, and support as you explore what feels most supportive for your body, lifestyle, and goals.
-
I do not prescribe supplements or provide medical treatment. If you are already taking supplements recommended by your physician or practitioner, I can help you build habits and routines that support consistency and help you track how you feel. If you are curious about supplements, I can also offer general, education-based guidance so you can have a more informed conversation with your healthcare provider.
-
I don’t accept insurance. However, some clients are able to use HSA or FSA funds depending on their provider. If your provider requires a Letter of Medical Necessity (LMN), they can complete that for you. I’m happy to provide a detailed receipt that you can submit for reimbursement.
