Strawberry Chia Jam


3 cups strawberries

3 Tablespoons maple syrup

2 Tablespoons chia seeds

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

  1. Boil down the strawberries with maple syrup
  2. Mash strawberry and maple syrup mixture with a fork or masher
  3. Add chia seeds and continue to simmer over low heat for about 15 minutes (you will notice it start to thicken)
  4. Remove from heat, add vanilla extract
  5. Keep refrigerated in a sealed glass container/mason jar for up to two weeks
